WORK

As an interdisciplinary artist, Theresa doesn’t focus on any particular approach or material. She is interested in experimenting and playing with the results of those experiments. Her work can be drastic in content and technique, as well as method and materials. Theresa is drawn to colors, patterns, and textures. These elements usually coalesce into interesting, layered works.

Her work is centered on narrating personal stories and experiences of individuals and their identities. These narratives often identify and express a variety of cultural, sexual, gender, and personal identities. Theresa is driven to advocate for others and uses her art to create discussion about the “other”.
